Details emerge of Brookville chase that led to deadly shooting

BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Details emerge of the deadly officer-involved shooting in Brookville amid newly-released dashcam video.

Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper dashcam video shows that they car they were chasing — was driven by Ashley Sides.

She was killed during a shootout with police moments after this video was taken.

Sides, who was driving a white Cadillac, drives erratically before getting off at the Arlington Road exit. The trooper then alerts Brookville police to take over the chase.

She then crashes her car and runs towards a Speedway gas station to meet her boyfriend, Conrad Davis, who was driving in a separate car — a dark SUV.

It was at the gas station that the shootout with Brookville police ensued.
