YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) – The Glen Helen Ecology Institute is working right now to remove political vandalism from monuments on site.
The institute’s executive director says someone tagged its monuments with Pro-Donald Trump graffiti.
Hikers found the vandalism this week.
The suspect or suspects wrote “Hillary for Prison” on the old stone.
“These monuments were not designed to withstand this sort of onslaught. It’s remarkable and discouraging to us to contemplate what kind of person would put out their political preferences by damaging property at a charity organization,” said Nick Boutis, Executive Director, Glen Helen Ecology Institute.
If anyone know anything about the vandalism, they’re asked to contact Yellow Springs police at 937-767-7206.
