Parents turn teen son in after hit and run crash in Centerville

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Troy teen is cited after crashing into two houses in Centerville.

It happened in the 5500 block of Royal Wood Drive around 10:30 p.m Friday.

Police say the 18-year-old was driving on Royal Wood Drive when he lost control and crashed through a house, then hit another while trying to get away.

A couple of hours later, police get receive a call from the teen’s father saying his son was responsible.

The teen’s parents brought him to the station where he was cited for failure to control and hit and run before he was released.

No one was hurt in the crash.
