DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Carillon Tree of light made its debut last year in spectacular form– but suffered an early demise due to a high winds.
Organizers are bringing it back — but with some important changes.
They say they’ve had two engineering firms on the project to make sure it’s safe and secure. The CEO of Dayton History says they’re excited for “A Carillon Christmas”…
New this year: the museum and all its exhibits will be open every evening.
“The food, and sound, and joy it should bring to the Miami Valley. We’re hoping that this will become a new Miami valley tradition when it comes to the Christmas season,” said Brady Kress, CEO of Dayton History.
The tree of light will be illuminated on November 30th — the centerpiece for the month-long celebration.
