Person taken into custody after Greene County SWAT standoff

CEDARVILLE TWP., Ohio (WDTN) — A person has been taken into custody after a SWAT standoff in Greene County.

Law enforcement from several agencies were called to a home in 2400 block of Murdock Road just before 10 p.m. on Monday.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Xenia Police Department, Cedarville police, and a SWAT team responded to that call.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch says a person was taken into custody, but could not release any other information.

The Sheriff’s Office is expected to release more information on the incident on Tuesday morning.
