Dayton Police say armed robbery was a false alarm

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police say a reported armed robbery was a false alarm in Dayton Saturday night.

Officials originally reported a teenager got away with $50 after showing a gun and demanding money.

Crews were called out to the restaurant around 7 p.m.

Police initially said it happened either inside or in the parking lot of Arby’s in the 2000 block of Salem Ave.

No injuries were reported.
