FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people were arrested Sunday morning after a robbery at a Fairborn gas station.
Fairborn Police said Monday they were called to a robbery at the Circle K gas station in the 1100 block of Dayton-Yellow Springs Road around 1:30 a.m.
According to police, a person approached an employee of the gas station while she was outside the store with a gun. The suspect ordered the woman back in the store and demanded money. After the person with the gun got the money he left in a U-Haul van.
Later, a Greene County Sheriff Deputy found the U-Haul van at another Circle K in Xenia. Bryan Goney, 38 and a woman who told police she was Loretta Branham, 27 were both detained when they left the store. Police say an investigation showed they committed the robbery and they were both arrested.
Police said Wednesday Branham gave false information about who she was. She has now been identified as Magen Branham and is facing additional charges.
Goney was charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping and abduction. Branham was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery, robbery, tampering with records and identity fraud.
Both Goney and Branham are being held in the Greene County Jail.
