Volunteers live like a shelter dog to raise awareness

(NECN) The dogs at the Cape Ann Animal Aid Shelter in Gloucester, Massachusetts had some unlikely kennel neighbors Friday.

Volunteers spent 24 hours in the cages to experience the life of shelter dogs.

Their mission is simple: raise awareness of what these animals go through and hopefully get the dogs adopted.
