DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An Englewood woman indicted on charges related to another man’s death has pleaded guilty to the charges she faced on Wednesday.

Elyssa Davis, 32, plead guilty to a single charge of involuntary manslaughter and a single charge of corrupting another with drugs.

A friend of the victim called police after finding the victim dead inside his house. The Montgomery County Coroner reportedly found numerous drugs in his system.

The coroner determined the cause of death to be acute drug intoxication from a mixture of Fentanyl, Alprazolam, and ethanol, according to the Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

The defendant purchased the illegal drug mixture and assisted the victim with injecting the drugs. The defendant collapsed almost immediately. The defendant left the victim lying on the floor and left the residence without seeking any medical attention for the victim.

Davis will appear in court Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. for sentencing.
