2 suspects steal money, Suboxone from man’s apartment

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are investigating a report of an aggravated robbery.

It happened just before midnight Sunday in the 1300 block of St. Adalbert in Dayton.

The victim told police that two men entered his apartment when he was sitting on his couch in the living room. He said he stood to defend himself when one suspect struck him in the side of his head. He then told police that the two men stole money and six Suboxone strips.

The strips are used to help wean addicts off of opioids.

After stealing the items, the suspects ran from the scene.

The victim told police that he knows who the suspects are, as they frequent the apartment complex. Police followed up with the victim’s leads on the suspects but were unsuccessful.
