WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a fifth suspect wanted in a kidnapping and robbery scheme.
21-year-old Kaine Tomlin from Delhi turned himself in at the Warren County Jail on Monday night. He’s being held on one count of Kidnapping and one count of Robbery. Tomlin’s bond is currently set at $350,000.
On Monday, detectives from the sheriff’s office arrested three other suspects in connection with an incident that happened in Wayne Township on October 10, 2016. 18-year-old Hayley Patrustie of Cincinnati, 20-year-old David Stephens of Fairfield and 18-year-old Dillon Baum of Liberty Township are each charged with one count of Kidnapping and one count of Robbery. All three are being held in the Warren County Jail.
A fourth suspect, a juvenile, was arrested last week.
Investigators say the suspects used social media to contact the victim and arrange a meeting. After picking up the victim, the suspects allegedly assaulted him, robbed him of several hundred dollars and his phone and dumped him on the side of the road.
