Convenience store robbed by men with knives


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are investigating a robbery at a Dayton convenience store.

Officers were called to the Cruze Thru store at 101 Springfield St. around 7:00 Tuesday night.

A clerk at the store told police he feared for his life when two men came into the store with knives, one of which was an 8-inch butcher’s knife, according to a police report on the incident.

The clerk told police the two men got away with $100 in cash and about 60 packs of cigarettes.

The two men are described as one black man and one white man, wearing all black. A police K-9 was called to the area but did not locate anyone.

A black glove was found in the parking lot that is believed to belong to one of the suspects.
