Dayton holds 44th annual grande illumination

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The 44th annual grande illumination in downtown Dayton is happening Friday evening.

The Dayton holiday festival begins at 4 p.m. tomorrow.

The tree at courthouse square will be lit at 7:45 p.m. followed by the Dayton Children’s parade spectacular in lights featuring thoughts of lights illumination the 45 minute parade.

“We have live reindeer. You can take family photo with a sleigh in the reindeer display, you can also get up close and personal with some of Santa’s special delivery team with you can feed the reindeer, you can pet the reindeer in a special area in a new exhibit,” Val Beerbower with the Downtown Dayton Partnership says.
