Man found dead in Dayton backyard identified

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -Dayton Police respond to a ‘shots fired’ call and found a man dead in a backyard.

Crews were called out around 7:30 p.m. Saturday to the 100 block of Norman Ave.

Officials say when they got there they found a man with a gunshot wound.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s officer has identified him as 32-year-old Benjamin Werner of Lebanon.

Police are still looking for suspects in this case.
