2 hospitalized after fire sparks in Dayton apartment building

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A 4-year-old and an adult were sent to the hospital after a fire broke out at a Dayton apartment complex on Saturday.

Crews were called to battle a fire at the Western Manor Apartments in the 1900 block of N. James H. McGee Blvd. around 4.

The toddler and adult are expected to be okay. However, the fire displaced dozens of families.

Red Cross and neighbors are helping those families overcome the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
