Raiders rally for win over North Dakota

FAIRBORN, Ohio – Down six with eight minutes to play, the Wright State men’s basketball team outscored North Dakota 27-17 the rest of the way to defeat the Fighting Hawks 83-79 Saturday night as part of the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic Presented by Premier Health at the Wright State Nutter Center.

*Four WSU players ended with double-figure scoring: Steven Davis and Grant Benzinger with 23, Justin Mitchell 16 and Mark Alstork 10.

*All ten points from Alstork came from the line–25 over the last two games.

*WSU won the boards 39-32.

*WSU shot 39% from the field while UND shot 47%.

*Three Raiders had six rebounds to lead the team: Davis, Benzinger and Mitchell.

*Mark Hughes had five rebounds for the second straight day.
