Troy foster organization under investigation

TROY, Ohio (WDTN) — A foster organization in Miami County is under investigation, according to our partners at the Piqua Daily Call.

Troy Police served a search warrant at Isaiah’s Place located at 1100 Wayne Avenue on Wednesday after a tip from a former employee that funds were being misused.

According to the Piqua Daily Call, the search warrant named Kelley Gunter, the executive director of Isaiah’s Place.

Police took financial records from the building. They said the records were related to suspected theft or misappropriation of funds totaling more than $100,000.

Isaiah’s Place has been open since 2003 providing training to potential foster families.
