Huber Heights respond to shooting near elementary school (WDTN PhotoCharlisa Gordon)

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — A teenager is in the hospital following a shooting outside of Wright Brothers Elementary School in Huber Heights.

Police were called to the 5700 Block of Harshmanville Road around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officials say a neighbor called 911. When officers got there they found a male teenager yelling in the parking lot for help.

The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim told police he got into an argument that escalated to a fight, at which point he was shot. Two suspects took off in a red four-door vehicle, according to police.

Authorities say drugs were found at the scene.
