CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) — President-elect Donald Trump is returning to Ohio.

Trump will hold a rally at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Trump promised to hold a “thank you tour” in states that flipped from Democrat to Republican in the November election.

Ohio was a key battleground state won by Trump over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, a state won by President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Trump aides confirm the “thank you tour” will begin on Thursday with the event in Cincinnati.
