Holiday gifts for furry friends

(NBC News) It looks like pets made Santa’s “nice” list this year, as Americans are set to spend 1.5 times the amount of cash on their furry friends as they did in 2015.

From “Dogald” Trump chew toys to pet trackers and even organic pet food, it’s clear that our pets are getting spoiled this holiday season.

The only questions left…when should you buy?

“Right now shopping for your pet the best time is this week or as soon as possible,” said Adobe Data Analyst Tamara Gaffney.

One thing is for sure, higher spending has many Americans looking at themselves as pet parents rather than pet owners.
