Manatee rescued from Florida storm drain arrives for rehab

(WESH) A huge manatee rescued from a Jacksonville, Florida storm drain Wednesday has arrived at SeaWorld for rehabilitation.

A pavement crew working in the area at the time found the animal.

It took dozens of rescuers to get the animal out.

After hours of cutting and digging, Jacksonville firefighters lifted a 950-pound manatee out of the drain it had been trapped in.
