OSP investigates a rollover crash on I-75 at the Dryden Road exit.

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) — A chase that started in West Carrollton ended with a crash on I-75 early on Friday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a car that fled a traffic stop ended up crashing on the ramp from Dryden Road to I-75.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, when police pulled over a vehicle in West Carrollton for a broken taillight.

OSP says the car sped off, before eventually crashing and rolling over. The man driving the vehicle got out and fled the scene of the crash on foot.

OSP on the scene found a fully loaded assault rifle, and a pistol inside of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

A woman riding in the car called 911 for help. She was removed from the vehicle without any serious injuries.

OSP says the woman is unlikely to face any charges.

Law enforcement is searching for the driver, as the investigation continues.
