Zoodles & Grass-Fed Beef Sauce

Cold weather and the holiday season make the perfect combo for trying something new in the kitchen.  Kate from Kate’s Plate is back with a low-carb recipe.

 

Zoodles & Grass-Fed Beef Sauce

3-4 Zucchini to make Zoodles
Spiralizer

1/2 lb grass-fed organic beef
2 Tbls small diced onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
2 Tbls tomato paste
16 oz crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt

Brown beef with onions and seasonings. Add garlic, saute for 1-2 minutes. Then add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and season more if needed. Let simmer for best flavor. Spiralize zucchini to make ‘noodles’. Heat zoodles for 2-4 minutes in a hot skillet and top with meat sauce.
