Police investigate a crash by Good Samaritan Hospital

DAYTON (WDTN) — A man with a gunshot wound crashed his car near Good Samaritan Hospital on Friday morning.

Police say the man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, before crashing on Benson Drive next to the hospital.

Officers say the man’s wounds are life threatening. The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.

Police say they’re not sure where the man was shot. He drove to Good Samaritan, with the car coasting into the wall on Benson Drive around 7:20 a.m.

The wall was not damaged and the car suffered only minor damage.
