One person hurt in crash involving car and motorcycle in Centerville

Crash involving a car and a motorcycle on S. Main St. in Centerville.

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Centerville.

Police and medics were called to the 1000 block of South Main Street in front of the Kroger around 5:30 a.m. on Monday.

Police say a car was leaving the Kroger parking lot, when it hit a motorcycle going south on S. Main St.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police. The driver of the car was not hurt.

Several lanes of traffic were shut down due to the crash. All lanes have since reopened.

Police did not release information about any potential charges related to the crash.
