Xenia citizens vote down school levy

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – Voters in Xenia voted down a school levy Tuesday in a special election. Money from the levy would have been used to build a new combined middle and high school.

It would have cost voters who own property valued at $100,000 about $12.26 per month.

Tuesday’s election was the second time the district put a levy on the ballot. In November, voters struck down the levy.
