BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A printing error by the manufacturer led to confusion for some drivers in Butler Township on Wednesday.

The sign for U.S. 40 to Vandalia and the Dayton International Airport had a noticeable error, with the logo for U.S. 44 listed.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says the sign was fixed on Wednesday afternoon, and the mistake won’t cost taxpayers any money. The manufacturer paid for the repair costs due to the error.

U.S. 44 actually runs from Massachusetts to New York.
