Robber steals pills from Rite Aid

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  Dayton Police were called to a robbery early Wednesday evening.

It happened at the Rite Aide on the 2900 block of Linden Avenue.

Officers say the suspect stole pills from the store.

Canines were on the scene trying to track a scent.

Police say no weapons were seen at the robbery and the suspect was last seen running through bushes around 6:40 p.m.

Officials say their track ended at the 1500 block of South Smithville road around 6:47 p.m.
