Identity released of woman found dead in Dayton alley

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Montgomery County Coroner has released the identity of the woman found dead in a Dayton alley.

The coroner says the victim is 39-year-old Jasmin Wadsworth from Huber Heights.

Her body was found Wednesday morning in an alley off West Norman Avenue.

Homicide Detectives were at the scene investigating on West Norman Avenue in Dayton, along with the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Police say Wadsworth was found dead in the alley around 6:30 Wednesday morning. One person called 911 and reported hearing five or six gunshots. Another man called 911 and reported finding the body in the alley.
