No one inside car towed out of a Preble County pond

CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) – Officials have now cleared the scene in Preble County at a pond after a report of a car in it.

The call came in around 12:45 p.m. Monday.

Crews are at the 3000 block of OH-725 in Preble County.

A dive search team went to the scene and a tow truck pulled the car out of the pond.

There were no reports of anyone in the car and there were no injuries.

Officials said the owner of the car will get a citation for failing to control the vehicle.
