National Fry Day on a Thursday

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  It’s not Friday day yet but we’re celebrating National Fry Day on this Thursday.

The earliest known reference to French Fried Potatoes was published in 1856 in the English work Cookery for Maids of All Work.

In celebration of National Fry Day, Penn Station is giving away a free small fry if you buy a sub today.

#NationalFrenchFryDay is trending on Twitter.
