Springfield fire station to reopen after tax levy failed

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A fire station in Springfield will reopen after a tax levy failed in November.

The fire station was forced to shut down back in January after the tax levy failed.

Recently, in May the tax levy for the fire station passed.

Fire station number 5 will officially reopen Saturday, July 15.
