PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Monday troopers and local law enforcement will hold an OVI checkpoint this week.

The county where the checkpoint is to be staged will be announced the day prior to the event and the precise location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.

Operational support for the checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement.

Troopers remind drivers to designate a driver or make other arrangements if you plan to drink alcohol.
