DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – One man was arrested when police found two warrants out for his arrest after eight vehicles crashed on interstate 75 northbound Wednesday.
When police arrived at the scene they identified the driver and the passenger as the driver was being transported to Miami Valley.
According to the police report, an officer cited the driver and looked up the passenger’s information where the officer found two outstanding warrants on his record and arrested him.
The police officer discovered a syringe and two heroin gel capsules where the man complained of sitting on something uncomfortable in the police vehicle, but the police officer did not have those items in the vehicle beginning of his shift, according to the police reporter.
The police report says the man is facing multiple charges including possession of drugs and possession of a syringe.
