One arrested for OVI, Child Endangering at Hamilton Co. checkpoint

HAMILTON CO. — One driver was arrested during an OVI checkpoint conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Butler County OVI Task Force.

The driver was arrested for an OVI and two counts of child endangering. The checkpoint was held Friday night on State Route 128 near Ross High School in Ross Township.

In all, 985 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, and 11 vehicles were diverted for additional investigation. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
