Researchers detect preschool vision problems

(NBC NEWS) –  Texas researchers try to see if 4-year-olds have vision problems with only a camera.

Preschoolers at Hubbards Heights Elementary School patiently waiting their turn for the test.

Some may be a little nervous to go into a dark room where only a $6500 refractometer camera tests their vision.

Researchers say this camera can tell if a child has vision problems and could detect these problems early on in life.
