Company offers workers 8 weeks of paid family leave

(NBC NEWS) –  At Brooklyn-based UncommonGoods, workers bringing home a new child, or facing challenges in caring for a sick loved one don’t have to make tough decisions about choosing work over family.

The company has a paid leave policy in place, guaranteeing primary caregivers eight weeks off.

CEO Dave Bolotsky says it’s not only good for workers, it’s good for business.
