Troy store evacuated after deer runs inside

TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – The Kohls in Troy had an unexpected visitor.

According to the our partners at the Troy Daily News, police were called to the store on West Main Street just after 8:00 p.m Saturday after reports a deer had run inside.

Customers were evacuated as a safety precaution.

By the time officers arrived, three citizens had pinned the deer. Officers then assisted in tying the deer up and carrying it to a rear exit where it was released.

The buck knocked over some displays but no serious damage was done to the store.

No one was hurt.
