Victim identified in deadly semi crash in Darke County

ROSSBURG, Ohio (WDTN) — An Indiana man is dead after a semi crash in Darke County.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says 75-year-old Wilbur Miller from Goshen, Indiana died in the crash.

Deputies say Miller was driving a semi west on North Star Ft. Loramie Road east of Rismiller Road when the crash happened. The crash happened near Rossburg, about 18 miles north of Greenville.

Investigators say the semi ran off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The semi came back onto the road before running off the right side again and hitting a tree.

Miller was pronounce dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
