DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Grant Benzinger and Jaylon Hall each hit back-to-back 3-pointers as Wright State made up an 11-point gap in less than two minutes and then held off an upset-minded Green bay 68-64 Thursday night.

Wright State remains tied atop the Horizon League with Northern Kentucky, which was also taken to the wire Thursday, eking out a 54-52 win over Milwaukee.

Benzinger scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers. Hall added 16 points with three treys and Mark Hughes added 13 points with 14 rebounds, and Wright State (19-7, 11-2 Horizon League) battled to the win despite shooting 33 percent (21 of 64).

Green Bay (10-17, 5-9) had twice built 11-point leads on the Horizon co-leader, the last coming with just under 11 minutes remaining when Khalil Small hit two 3-pointers in a row. The teams were never more than five points apart over the last nine minutes.

Leading by two with six seconds remaining, Hall stole the ball, was fouled and made both free throws for a 66-62 lead. Benzinger followed with two from the line.
