Rob Sneed joined 2 NEWS in October 2012 as our Springfield reporter. Before coming to WDTN, Rob spent two years in Arkansas reporting on everything from severe weather, to fires, murders and politics.
Rob was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and is excited to be back in his home state. He’s also looking forward to getting to know the Miami Valley.
He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Communication. While there, Rob interned at WBNS-TV and WSYX/WTTE-TV in Columbus, Ohio. He also served as news director, anchor, reporter, and photographer at OSU’s student ran TV station Buckeye TV.
In his spare time Rob enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys attending church.
What Rob loves most about his job is being a voice for you. He’s a people person, so if you have a story idea or just see him out and about, please don’t hesitate to stop him and say “Hello!”.
