Today will be another above normal day! It’s been a very comfortable week, with highs each day in the lower 50s. A good deal of cloud cover prevented us from getting any warmer, but had the sun come out yesterday… we would have hit the mid-upper 50s! Today, we expect clouds again… but we have warmer air moving in on southerly winds. This morning, temperatures are in the mid-upper 40s in most spots, and some are even in the 50s at 6am!!
Highs should push up close to the 60-degree mark this afternoon. Northern counties will be a bit cooler, with highs up toward Celina, Wapakoneta, and Sidney in the mid-upper 50s. Most of the area will stay dry today, but there is about a 20% chance of a spotty sprinkle at any time. There is a better chance of a few light showers moving through the area tonight, and into the first part of Saturday:
Despite a rain chance and clouds over the weekend, we still expect potential record warmth! It will be breezy Saturday, and windy on Sunday, as southerly winds send temperatures soaring! If you are heading down to Paul Brown for the Steelers/Bengals game, it will be dry, windy and mild:
A cold front is set to move in Sunday night into Monday morning. This will increase our rain chances during this time. We have a really good shot at a wet start to next week, as temperatures turn a little cooler with the front coming through. But we still look to run above normal through the first half of the week.
